The PIL Unit offers courses in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and Supervision in Postgraduate Programmes. Some spring 2024 courses (including modules) are still open for applications. The autumn 2024 courses will open for applications on Wednesday 17 April at 9 am.

Teaching and Learning in Higher Education 1: Basic Course (PIL101)
PIL101 offers an introduction to learning theories, teaching methods and student learning in higher education.

Teaching and Learning in Higher Education 2: Subject Field Pedagogy (PIL102)
Develop your ability to analyse, plan, debate, and design university education and your own pedagogical approach.
Courses
Teaching and Learning in Higher Education 3: Applied Analysis (PIL103)
Write an independent paper about a theme within teaching and learning in higher education.

Supervision in Postgraduate Programmes

For lecturers/researchers who supervise or plan to supervise in postgraduate programmes, irrespective of faculty.
