Video halls

By now, more than 20 halls at University of Gothenburg are equipped as video halls. This means that they can be used for video meetings, recording and streaming.

Video meeting

The halls can be connected to one or several other parties, for example a learning center in the region, another video hall at the University or a lecturer in another country.

Recording

There are several cameras in the hall. The recorded film are stored in the video portal GU Play and can later be shown in Canvas or at the University's website.

Live webcast (Streaming)

The halls can be used for live webcasts, also known as streaming. Persons who want to watch the webcast do this via a web link.
