The Pedagogical Academy is a collegial network for pedagogical development at the University of Gothenburg.
The Pedagogical Academy is to provide the university’s teachers with high quality opportunities to enter into a dialogue about teaching across faculty, department and subject boundaries. The purpose of these in-depth discussions is to highlight, analyse and discuss experiences of pedagogical interest and innovative educational ideas.
All employees are invited and encouraged to participate in the in-depth pedagogical discussions. The Pedagogical Academy is supported administratively by the PIL unit, which helps to arrange meetings for pedagogical analysis and discussion across subject, faculty and department boundaries.
The university's Excellent Teachers are invited and encouraged to participate in the Pedagogical Academy, where they can use their experience and reflections on teaching practice to support other teachers and teaching teams in their endeavour to develop supervision, teaching and education.
