Fee for not using an allocated place
An allocated place on any of our courses is offered for free, on condition that it is used. Please note that the application is binding.
Cancellation has to be done no later than 10 working days before the course starts. If this is not done in time, PIL will impose a fee on the participant's department. This routine is also applied if the participant leaves the course at an early stage (within three weeks after the start of the course). Absence at the first course meeting (with the exception of illness or special circumstances that have been communicated to the course leader) is counted as leaving at an early stage.
The fee is SEK 5 000 per place not being used. For the module Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, the fee is SEK 3 000.
This routine applies for all PIL courses.
